No. GHY/03/HFWD/AAD/e-file/7/2025/5511/V: Whereas, sub-rule (8) of Rule 8 and clause (b) of sub-rule (8) of Rule 8 of the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967, prescribe that where the qualifications prescribed for any service or post include qualification as to practical experience of a given period, and applications are invited for recruitment to such service or post, the period of practical experience shall be computed with reference to the last date fixed for receipt of such applications;PART IV-B ] GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 12-03-2026 30 2. No.GHG/139/2025/MHK/1011/2224/C : In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 5 of the Gujarat Police Act, 1951 (Bom.XXII of 1951), the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Police Sub-Inspector (Unarmed), Class III, Recruitment Rules, 2020, namely: - 1. (1) These rules may be called the Police Sub-Inspector (Unarmed), Class III, Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Police Sub-Inspector (Unarmed), Class III, Recruitment Rules, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as "the said rules"), in rule 2, in clause (c), for the words "by direct selection, on the basis of the result of competitive examination held for the purpose", the words "on the basis of the result of combined competitive examination held for the purpose" shall be substituted. 3. In the said rules, in rule 4,- (i) in clause (a), for the words and figures "not be less than 21 years of age and not be more than 35 years of age", the words and figures "not be more than 35 years of age" shall be substituted. (ii) in clause (a), the second proviso shall be deleted. (iii) clause (f) shall be deleted. 4. In the said rules, after rule 5 the following new rule shall be inserted, namely: - "5A. The candidate appointed on the basis of the result of combined competitive examination held for the purpose shall possess a valid heavy/light motor vehicle driving licence within the stipulated period of service on contractual basis." 5. In the said rules, rules 6 and 7 shall be deleted. 6. In the said rules, in rules 3, 4, 5, 8 and 9 the words "by direct selection", wherever they occur, the words "on the basis of the result of combined competitive examination held for the purpose" shall be substituted. (1) These rules may be called the Intelligence Officer, Class III, in the Police Department Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official-Gazette. 2. In the Intelligence Officer, Class III, in the Police Department Recruitment Rules, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as "the said rules"), in rule 4,- (i) in clause (a), for the words and figures "not be less than 21 years of age and not be more than 35 years of age", the words and figures "not be more than 35 years of age" shall be substituted. (ii) in clause (a), the second proviso shall be deleted. (iii) clause (f) shall be deleted. 3. No.GHM/2026/50/RD/JMN/e-file/15/2023/5046/L: Whereas it appears to the Government of Gujarat that the parts of the public, road, lands/ paths specified in the lanes schedule hereto annexed, which are the properties of the state of Gujarat are not required for the use of the public. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred bye sub-section (1) of section 37-A of the Bombay land revenue Code, 1879 (Bom. V of 1879) the Government of Gujarat is pleased to declare accordingly and to state that it is proposed that the rights of the public as well as of all proposed that the rights of the public as well as of all individuals in or over the said parts of the public, road, lanes/paths shall be extinguished. Any member of the public or any persons having any interest or right, in addition to the right of the public having in or over the said parts of the said road, lanes/ paths or having any other interest or right which is likely to be adversely affected by the said proposal may, within ninety days from the date of this notification. state in writing to the collector of Junagadh district his objection, if any, to the said proposal, the nature of his interest or right and the manner in which it is likely to be adversely affected, and the amount and particular of his claim for compensation for interest or right. If the Government of Gujarat is satisfied that the said parts of the said road, lanes/ paths are not required for th use of public, a final declaration under sub-section(5) of section 37A of the said Act, to the effect that all rights of the public as well as of all individuals in or other the said parts of the said road, lanes / paths are extinguished, will be published in the Gujarat Government Gazette, in dued course.
