No. GHKH/174/ACD/GFA/e-file/2/2025/2036/T: WHEREAS it has come to the attention of State Government that juvenile fish of various species are caught before they attain maturity and this severely affects the fish population. AND WHEREAS it is expedient to conserve juvenile fish and to protect the interest of different section of persons engaged in fishing, particularly of those engaged in fishing by use of traditional fishing craft such as catamaran, country craft or canoes. AND WHEREAS the Government of Gujarat has decided a Minimum Legal Size (MLS) for certain fish species. No.: GHY/31/HFWD/MSM/e-file/7/2025/3710/J:- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20 read with Section 4 of the Gujarat Professional Medical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of AdmissionPART IV-B ] GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 13-11-2025 246 and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007 (Guj. 3 of 2008) the Government of Gujarat, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Gujarat Professional Post-Graduate Medical Educational Courses (Regulation of Admission) Rules, 2018 namely: - 1. (1) These rules may be called the Gujarat Professional Post-Graduate Medical Educational Courses (Regulation of Admission) (Amendment) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on and from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Gujarat Professional Post-Graduate Medical Educational Courses (Regulation of Admission) Rules, 2018, (herein-after referred as "the said rules"), in rule 5, in clause (A), under the heading “For Government Seats”, for sub-clause (9), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely: - “(9) After granting admission to all the candidates of reserved categories who are in the merit list on reserved seats, remaining vacant seats of the reserved categories shall be transferred to the unreserved category seats during 3rd round. During the course of 3rd round, seats remaining vacant shall be converted as per the conversion algorithm as indicated below: Conversion Algorithm SR. NO.
