PART IV-B Rules and Orders (Other than those published in Part I, I-A and I-L) made by the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat Acts. કૃષિ, ખેડૂત કલ્યાણ અને સહકાર ષિભાગ જાહેરનામ ું સચિવાલય, ગાાંધીનગર, ૩૦મી સપ્ટેમ્બર, ૨૦૨૬ નું. જીએચકેએચ-૪૦-૨૦૨૬-નસબ-૧૬-૨૦૦૬-૨૦૭-ચ (e-file: ACD/APM/e-file/2/2023/2013/CH): ગુજરાત સહકારી માંડળી અચધચનયમ, ૧૯૬૧ની કલમ-૧૦૭ હેઠળ મળેલ સત્તા અન્વય ેરચજસ્ટ્રારશ્રી, સહકારી માંડળીઓ, ગુજરાત રાજ્ય, ગાાંધીનગરના તા.૦૬/૦૩/૧૯૯૯ના હુકમ ક્રમાાંક: નસબ/૦૧/ઝ-૨/૨૮૫/૧૯૯૯થી ધી સુપ્રભાત કો.ઓ. બેંક લી., અમદાવાદને ફડિામા ાં લઈ જવામાાં આવેલ. ગુજરાત સહકારી માંડળી અચધચનયમ, ૧૯૬૧ની કલમ-૧૧૪(૧)ની જોગવાઈ મુજબ ફડિાના હુકમથી ત્રણ વર્ષમાાં ફડિાની કાયષવાહી આટોપી લેવાની રહે છે. ગુજરાત સહકારી માંડળી અચધચનયમ, ૧૯૬૧ની કલમ-૧૧૪(૧) હેઠળ મળેલ સત્તા અન્વય ે સદરહુ સાંસ્ટ્થાની ફડિાની મુદત રચજસ્ટ્રારશ્રી, સહકારી માંડળીઓ, ગુજરાત રાજ્ય, ગાાંધીનગરના વખતોવખતના હુકમોથી તા.૦૫/૦૩/૨૦૦૬ સુધી વધારવામાાં આવેલ હતી. પરંત ુ સદરહુ મુદત વધારા દરમ્યાન ફડિાની કાયષવાહી આટોપી શકાયેલ ન હતી. ત્યારબાદ ગુજરાત સહકારી માંડળી અચધચનયમ, ૧૯૬૧ની કલમ-૧૬૧ હેઠળ મળેલ સત્તા અન્વયે રાજ્ય સરકારના કૃચર્, ખેડૂત કલ્યાણ અને સહકાર ચવભાગના વખતોવખતના જાહેરનામાથી તા.૦૫/૦૩/૨૦૨૫ સુધી કલમ ૧૬૧ હેઠળ મુચિ આપવામાાં આવેલ હતી.

પરંતુ સદરહુ સમયગાળા દરમ્યાન ફડિાની કાયષવાહી આટોપી શકાયેલ નથી.

NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 29th September, 2026 GUJARAT ESSENTIAL SERVICES MAINTENANCE ACT, 1972.

No. GH/NJ/2026/131/NWRWSKD/PRC/e-file/13/2024/0767/KH: WHEREAS the Government of Gujarat is of the opinion that strike in all employment of Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board, Gujarat Water Infrastructure Limited and Water & Sanitation Management Organisation serving under Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpasar Department (Water Supply Department) to provide and distribute drinking water to the public and other co-ordination activities are essential to the life of the community and their strike will result in the infliction of grave hardship to whole community.PART IV-B ] GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 08-10-2026 146

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (ii) of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Gujarat Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1972 (Guj. 23 of 1972), the Government of Gujarat hereby declares all employment of Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board, Gujarat Water Infrastructure Limited and Water & Sanitation Management Organisation serving under Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpasar Department (Water Supply Department) to provide and distribute drinking water to the public and other co-ordination activities, to be the "Essential Services" for the purpose of the aforesaid Act.

No. GH/NJ/2026/132/NWRWSKD/PRC/e-file/13/2024/0767/KH: WHEREAS the Government of Gujarat is satisfied that in the public interest, it is necessary to do so:

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Gujarat Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1972 (Guj. 23 of 1972), the Government of Gujarat hereby prohibits strikes in the essential services declared as such under Government notification, Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpasar Department (Water Supply Department), No. GH/NJ/2026/131/NWRWSKD/PRC/e-file/13/2024/0767/KH dated as per E-sign and specified in the schedule appended here to.

SCHEDULE All employment of Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board, Gujarat Water Infrastructure Limited and Water & Sanitation Management Organisation serving under Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpasar Department (Water Supply Department) to provide and distribute drinking water to the public and other co-ordination activities.

This order shall remain in force for a period of six months i.e. (from dt: 03/09/2026 to 02/03/2027).
