GUJARAT LEGISLATURE SECRETARIAT NOTIFICATION Viththalbhai Patel Bhavan, Gandhinagar, 1st May, 2026 No. GVS/1168/P/1(34)/2209: The following Order which has been made by the committee constituted under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Members' Salaries and Allowances Act, 1960 (No. 2 of 1960) in consultation with the State Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of the said Section 10 read with section 5B and which has been approved and confirmed by the Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly is hereby published as required by clause (e) of sub-section (1) of the said section 10, of the Act, namely:- IV-C Ex.-399 399-1399-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE EX., 01-05-2026 [ PART IV-C ORDER The Members' of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly are at present under section 5B of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Members' Salaries and Allowances Act, 1960 are entitled to travel by first-class or by second-class air conditioned by any railway in any part of State of Gujarat and in any part of India. In addition to this, the Members of the Assembly shall now also be entitled to travel by executive class or any class by any railway including Vande Bharat Express, Tejas Express, Duronto Express. It is also made clear that the other provisions relating to travelling of the Members as provided in proviso to section 5B of the said Act shall continue to be applicable. This Order shall be applicable with effect from 1st April, 2026. CHETAN PANDYA Secretary, Gujarat Legislative Assembly ગુજરાત વિધાનસભા સવિિાલય જાહેરનામુું વિઠ્ઠલભાઈ પટેલ ભિન, ગાાંધીનગર, ૧લી મ,ે ૨૦૨૬ નું.ગિસ/૧૧૬૮/પી/૧(૩૪)/૨૨૦૯:- ગુજરાત વિધાનસભાના સભ્યોના પગાર તથા ભથથા ાં બાબતનો અવધવનયમ, ૧૯૬૦ (સન ૧૯૬૦ના અવધવનયમ ક્રમાાંક: ૨-જા) ની કલમ ૧૦ની પેટા-કલમ (૧) ના ખાંડ (અ) હેઠળ રચિામાાં આિેલી સવમવત દ્વારા, કલમ ૫-ખ સાથે િાાંચતા, સદરહુ કલમ ૧૦ની પેટા-કલમ (૧) ના ખાંડ (ડ) થી, તેને (સવમવતને) મળેલી સત્તાની રૂએ, રાજ્ય સરકાર સાથે વિચારવિવનમય કરીને, કરિામાાં આવ્યો હોય અને જેને ગુજરાત વિધાનસભાના અધ્યક્ષ દ્વારા માંજૂર કરિામાાં આવ્યો હોય તથા બહાલી આપિામાાં આિી હોય, તેિો નીચેનો હુકમ આથી, આ અવધવનયમની સદરહુ કલમ ૧૦ની પેટા-કલમ (૧) ના ખાંડ (ઈ) થી ફરમાવ્યા પ્રમાણે પ્રવસદ્ધ કરિામાાં આિે છે. હુકમ ગુજરાત વિધાનસભાના સભ્યોના પગાર તથા ભથથાાં બાબતનો અવધવનયમ, ૧૯૬૦ની કલમ ૫-ખ હેઠળ હાલમાાં ગુજરાત વિધાનસભાના સભ્યો, ગુજરાત રાજ્યના કોઈપણ ભાગમાાં અને ભારતના કોઈપણ ભાગમાાં કોઈપણ રેલિે દ્વારા પ્રથમ િગગ અથિા િાતાનુકૂવલત દ્વદ્વતીય િગગમાાં મુસાફરી કરિા માટે હકદાર છે. તદુપરાાંત, વિધાનસભાના સભ્યો હિે, િાંદે ભારત એક્સપ્રેસ, તેજસ એક્સપ્રેસ, દુરોન્તો એક્સપ્રેસ સવહત કોઈપણ રેલિે દ્વારા એક્ક્િક્યુદ્વટિ ક્લાસ (િગગ) અથિા કોઈપણ િગગમાાં મુસાફરી કરિા માટે પણ હકદાર રહેશે. એિુાં પણ સ્પષ્ટ કરિામાાં આિે છે કે સદરહુ અવધવનયમની કલમ ૫-ખના પરંતુકમાાં જોગિાઈ કયાગ પ્રમાણે, સભ્યોની મુસાફરી સાંબાંવધત અન્ય જોગિાઈઓ લાગુ પડતી હોિાનુાં ચાલુ રહેશે. આ હુકમ સન ૨૦૨૬ના એવપ્રલ મવહનાની ૧ લી તારીખથી અમલમાાં આિે તેમ લાગુ પડશે. િેતન પુંડ્યા, સવચિ, ગુજરાત વિધાનસભા. ---------- Government Central Press, Gandhinagar.
