G.S.R. 637(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution,
the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue,
Directorate of Enforcement, Deputy Director of Enforcement, Recruitment Rules, 2014.
1. (1) ) These rules may be called the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Directorate of
Enforcement, Deputy Director of Enforcement, Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Directorate of Enforcement,
Deputy Director of Enforcement, Recruitment Rules, 2014, under Column (13),after the entries, the following
Note shall be inserted, namely:—
“Note:- Consultation with the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment on deputation
basis shall not be necessary for a period of three years in terms of the provisions contained in the
Union Public Service Commission (Exemption from Consultation) Regulations, 1958 as amended
vide Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions ( Department of Personnel and
Training) notification number G.S.R. 483(E) dated the 2nd May, 2016.”
