Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs th Prize Distribution Function of the 58 Youth Parliament Competition, 2025-26 for schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, and the Department of Education, NDMC Posted On: 24 AUG 2026 12:56PM by PIB Delhi The Prize Distribution Function of the 58th Youth Parliament Competition, 2025-26 for schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, and the Department of Education, NDMC will be held on Tuesday, the 25th of August, 2026 at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium, Parliament Library Building, Parliament House Complex, New Delhi. Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Law and Justice; and Minister of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs will preside over the function and distribute the prizes to the prize-winning students and Schools for their meritorious performance in the Competition. On this occasion, the students of “Bal Bharti Public School, Parwana Road, Pitampura, Delhi” which stood first in the 58th Youth Parliament Competition, 2025-26 for schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, and the Department of Education, NDMC, will stage a repeat performance of their “Youth Parliament Sitting” during the Prize Distribution Function. The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has been organising Youth Parliament Competitions for schools in the National Capital Territory of Delhi for the past 60 years. Under the programme of Youth Parliament Competition for schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi and the Department of Education NDMC, the 58th Competition in the series was organized during 2025-26 in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The Youth Parliament Scheme aims at inculcating among the young generations the spirit of self- discipline, tolerance of diverse opinions, righteous expression of views, and other virtues of a democratic way of life. Besides, the scheme also acquaints the students with the practices and procedures of Parliament, techniques of discussion and debate and develops in their self-confidence, quality of leadership, and the art and skill of effective oratory. GV Mavalankar Running Parliamentary Shield and Trophy for standing first in the Competition will be awarded to “Bal Bharti Public School, Parwana Road, Pitampura, Delhi”. The Trophy for standing first amongst New Entrant Schools will also be awarded to “Bal Bharti Public School, Parwana Road, Pitampura, Delhi”.
