As of January 30, 2026, the total area coverage under Rabi crops has increased by 15.88 Lakh Hectare over the last year, reaching 676.84 Lakh Hectare. Pulses area has increased by 5.03 Lakh Hectare and Gram records a significant increase of 4.98 Lakh Hectare. Wheat area sown is 334.17 lakh hectare, up from 328.04 lakh hectare.
