NOTIFICATION
Kolkata, the 23rd February, 2026
S.O. 959(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of The Railways Act. 1989
(24 of 1989) the Central Government hereby notifies the Railway project namely “Proposed construction of Road
Over Bridge in lieu of manned level Crossing LC No: 94 in Bahanaga Bazar railway station Yard of
Kharagpur Division” under South Eastern Railway as Special Railway Project for acquisition of land in Balasore
District in the state of Odisha, for eliminating the level crossings as a part of improving safety of Train/Road users and
for providing national infrastructure for public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in
the Official Gazette.
