Published by authority, registered under TN/CCN/467/2012-14 and R. Dis. No. 197/2009, and priced at Re. 0.80 Paise, this issue (No. 9) includes notifications by the Government from the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department.
These amendments, as per G.O. Ms. No. 113, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (M), dated 15th November 2016, are enacted under Article 318 of the Constitution of India, with No. SRO B-12/2017. They are deemed to have come into force on August 9, 2011, and modify the 1954 Regulations (Volume-I of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1987).
Key amendments include inserting regulation 7-D, placing the Chairman and Members of the Commission under the purview of the State Vigilance Commission and Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption. Additionally, in Annexure II, rule 7-A, the expression "except the Chairman and Members of the Commission" is omitted.
