उक्त भूजम म ें जहतबद्व कोई भी व्यजक्त इस अजधसूचिा के रािपत्र में प्रकािि की तारीख स े तीस कदि की अवजध के
भीतर उक्त अजधजियम की धारा 20-घ की उप-धारा (1) के अधीि उपरोक्त प्रयोिि के जलए ऐसी भूजम के अिाि और
उपयोग के संबंध में आिेप कर सकेगा;
प्रत्येक ऐसा आिेप, सिम प्राजधकारी, जविेष भूजम अध्याजप्त अजधकारी, जमिाापुर (ससंचाई), जिला- जमिाापुर,
(उप्र.) को जलजखत म ें ककया िाया िायेगा और उसके आधार उपवर्णात ककये िायेगे और सिम अजधकारी आिेपकताा को या
तो व्याजक्तगत रूप से या जवजध व्यवसायी के माध्यम से सुिवाई का अवसर प्रदाि करेगा तथा आिेपों की सुिवाई करिे तथा
ऐसी और िााँच, यकद कोई हो करिे के पश्चात सिम प्राजधकारी आवश्यक सम़झे आदेि द्वारा या तो आिपे ों को अिज्ञु ात या
अििुज्ञात कर सकेगा;

NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 8th September, 2025
S.O. 4164(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20A of the Railways Act,
1989 (24 of 1989) Railway (amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central
Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the
schedule annexed hereto is required for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the
Special Railway Project namelyChunarChopan Doubling Projectin District Mirzapur in the State of Uttar Pradesh
hereby declares its intention to acquire such land;
Any person interested in the said land may within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this
notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose
under sub-section (1) of section 20D of the said Act.
Every such objection shall be made to the competent authority namely,Special Land Acquisition Officer
(Irrigation),Mirzapur District-Mirzapur, Uttar Pradeshin writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the
competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner,
and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority
thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections.
Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of section 20-D of the said Act shall be
final.
The land plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected by
the interested person at the aforesaid office of the Competent Authority.
