New Delhi, the 28th March, 2025
S.O. 1513(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways
Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the
Government of India in the then Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport
and Highways) numbers S.O.1599 (E), S.O.1600 (E) and S.O.1601 (E), all dated the 13th September, 2007,
published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part–II, Section 3, Sub Section (ii), dated the 13th September, 2007
and Amendment Gazette No.S.O.1394 (E) dated the 10th June, 2010 namely: In the said notification S.O. No. 1394(E)
dated the 10th June, 2010, the Central Government hereby authorizes (i) Special District Revenue Officer (Land
Acquisition), National Highways Nagapattinam, (ii) Special District Revenue Officer (Land Acquisition),4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
National Highways Tiruvarur and (iii) Special District Revenue Officer (Land Acquisition), National Highways
Thanjavur as the Competent Authorities to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect
from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, for the stretches of land from km 0/000 to km
17/000, Km 17/000 to Km 60/000 and Km 60/000 to Km 80/000 (Nagapattinam – Thanjavur Section) of the National
Highway No.67 (New NH-83) respectively for building (widening / four-laning / six-laning, etc.), maintenance,
management and operation of the said National Highway in the State of Tamil Nadu, as specified in the Schedule
given below.
