G197/Nashik Kumbh 2027/Mauje Sukene Vlg/20E] भ वनेि क मार ग प् ता, म ख्य प्रिासजनक अजधकारी (जनमाडण)4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 26th August, 2026 Under clause 20E of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) S.O. 4822(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number, S.O 1025 (E) dated 12th February 2026 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub-section (ii), dated the 26th February 2026 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub- section (1) of section 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, “PH-53:- Provision of 2 Nos. 6 M wide Foot Over Bridge with ramp at Kasbe Sukene Station for Kumbh Mela 2027 at Dist.- Nashik” in the district of Nashik in the State of Maharashtra. And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in for SLAO/SDM NIPHAD in Daily Marathi newspapers namely “Dainik Deshdoot” & “Dainik Hamra Mahanagar” Dated 06-03-2026 & 07-03-2026 under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act. And objections have been received in this village. The objections of the affected account holders on the said notification have been received after the time limit. Hearing on the said objections received was conducted by the competent authority Sub-Divisional Officer, Niphad on 07/08/2026. Therefore, stage-wise action has been taken and the demand of the account holders has been accepted. And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government. Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose. And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances.
