और, सक्षम प्राजधकारी को कोई आक्षपे प्राप्त नही हुय े ह।ै और, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 20’ई’ की उपधारा (1) के
अन सरण म ेंसक्षम प्राजधकारी ने अपनी ररपोटि केंरीय सरकार को प्रस्ट्त त कर दी ह ै।
अतः अब केंरीय सरकार, सक्षम प्राजधकारी स े उक्त ररपोटि के प्राप्त होन े पर और उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 20’ई’
की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, यह घोषणा करती ह ै कक इससे उपाबध्द अन सूची म ें जवजनर्दिष्ट
भूजम पूवोक्त प्रयोिन के जलए अर्िित की िाएगी ।

NOTIFICATION
Mumbai, the 12th May, 2026
Under clause 20E of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008
S.O. 2538(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board), number, S.O.706 (E) dated the 10th February 2026 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
Part II, section 3 Sub-section (ii), dated the 11th February 2026 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and
issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) and Railway (Amendment) Act,
2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the
land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
and operation of Special Railway Project, namely “Construction of 2 lane ROB & LHS in lieu of LC gate no. 36A, in
Village-Malvali, Tal-Maval, District-Pune of Pune-Lonavala section” in the State of Maharashtra.
And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily News Papers “Janpravas
(Marathi)” on 2nd March 2026, and “Bharat Dayari (Hindi)” on 28th February 2026 by Deputy Collector, Land
Acquisition, No.13, Pune, District- Pune, Maharashtra, under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act.
And whereas, no objections has been received.
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government.
Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of section 20 E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in
the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed
hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances.
