[फा. स.ं G197/Itarsi – Nagpur 3rd Line/Pitesur Vlg/20E] अवनीि क मार पाण्डेय, म ख्य प्रिासजनक अजधकारी (जनमाडण) MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 7th November, 2025 Under clause 20E of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008 S.O. 5116(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number, S.O 4214 dated 23 September 2025 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub- section (ii), (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) and Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008 (11 of 2008), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely “Itarsi - Nagpur Balance 3rd line” in the district of Nagpur in the State of Maharashtra.[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely "Dainik Rashtra Prakash" And “Dainik Lokmat Times” Dated 02.10.2025 under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, no objections were received by competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the central government free from all encumbrances.
