Mumbai, the 24th October, 2025
Under clause 37A of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008
S.O. 5058(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of The Railways Act, 1989
(24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008 (No.11 of 2008), the Central Government
hereby notifies “Asangaon - Kasara 4th line Project (34.97 Kms)” as Railway project under Central Railway, under
“Special Railway Project” for acquisition of land in Thane District of Maharashtra State, for providing national
infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
