Under clause 37A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989)
S.O. 3925(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of The Railways Act, 1989
(24 of 1989), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby notifies “Chord Line between
Chikhli and Somtane (3.706 Km)” as Railway project under Central Railway, under “Special Railway Project” for
acquisition of land in Raigad District of Maharashtra State for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose
with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
