Under clause 37A of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008
S.O. 3242(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of The Railways
Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) the Central Government hereby notifies “Miraj Chord line Project (1.73 Km)” as
Railway project under Central Railway, under “Special Railway Project” for acquisition of land in Sangli
District of Maharashtra State, for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the
date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
