NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 21st September, 2026 Under clause 7A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) S.O. 5202(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of Section 2 of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government hereby authorize the officer mentioned in column (2) of the table below as “Competent Authority” to perform the functions as such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette in respect of the special railway project “PH-16:- Provision of 1 additional Goods line adjacent to existing UP side goods shed line & both line connectivity to UP ML at MAGH End, short shunting neck at MAGH End etc at BPQ station” Railway project under “Special Railway Project” District Chandrapur Village/Taluka Ballarpur in the state of Maharashtra Mentioned in Column of the said table for the public purpose of execution maintenance, Management and operation of such special Railway Project.
