Under clause 37A of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008
S.O. 3647(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of The Railways
Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) the Central Government hereby notifies “Doubling Between Puntamba – Sainagar
Shirdi (16.50 Km)” as Railway project under Central Railway, under “Special Railway Project” for
acquisition of land in Ahilyanagar District of Maharashtra State for providing national infrastructure for a
public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
