Mumbai, the 23rd June, 2025
Under clause 37A of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008
S.O. 2884(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of The Railways Act, 1989
(24 of 1989) the Central Government hereby notifies “Rahuri- Shani Shingnapur New line (21.84Km).” as Railway
project under Central Railway, under “Special Railway Project” for acquisition of land in Ahmednagar District of
Maharashtra State for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of
this notification in the Official Gazette.
