(ii) म ें प्रकाजित हुई, रेल अजधजियम, 1989 (24 ऑफ 1989) (जिसे यहाुँ उक्त अजधजियम कहा गया ह)ै की धारा 2, खंड 20ए के अंतगात िारी की गई ह,ै रेल मंत्रालय, दजिण पजिम रेलवे, जिमााण सगं ठि, बगें लुरु छाविी ि े उक्त अजधसूचिा स े संलग्न अिुसूची म ें जिर्दाष्ट भूजम को "श्रावणूर, हIसि लाइि पर मैसूर मागा पर ककमी. 75/345 मंदाररे और होलिे ारजसपुरा स्ट्टेििों के बीच श्रावणूर म ें िए क्रॉससंग स्ट्टेिि का प्रावधाि" के जलए अजधग्रजहत करिे का अपिा जवचार व्यक्त ककया ह,ै िो हIसि जिल,े किााटक राज्य म ें जस्ट्ित ह।ै और चूंकक उक्त अजधसूचिा का सार रेलवे अजधजियम, 1989 की धारा 2, खडं 20ए के तहत 10 िुलाई 2026 को "जवियवाणी", "द न्य ू इंजडयि एक्सप्रेस" म ें प्रकाजित ककया गया ह।ै और चूंककसिम प्राजधकारी िे धारा 2, खडं 20डी के तहत दायर आपजियां प्राप्त की ह,ैं उि पर जवचार ककया ह ैऔर उिका उजचत जिपटाि ककया ह।ै और िैसा कक, रेल अजधजियम, 1989 की धारा 2, खंड 20ई के अिुसरण म,ें सिम प्राजधकारी ि े रेल मंत्रालय, दजिण पजिम रेलवे, जिमााण संगठि, बगें लरुु छाविी को अपिी ररपोटा प्रस्ट्तुत की ह।ै 7871 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] अतः सिम प्राजधकारी की उक्त ररपोटा प्राप्त होि े पर और रेल अजधजियम, 1989 की धारा 2, खंड 20ई द्वारा प्रदि िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, रेल मंत्रालय, दजिण पजिम रेलवे, जिमााण संगठि, बगें लरुु छाविी एतद्द्वारा घोजित करता ह ै कक उक्त अिुसूची म ें जिर्दष्टा भूजम को उपरोक्त प्रयोिि के जलए अजधग्रजहत ककया िािा चाजहए;

NOTIFICATION Bengaluru, the 12th October, 2026 S.O. 5605(E). — Whereas by the notification of the Central Government (Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, Construction Organisation, Bengaluru Cantonment) S.O. 3251 (E) dated 19th June 2026 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section3, Sub-section (ii) issued under Section 2, Clause 20A of Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (herein referred to as the said act) the Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, Construction Organisation, Bengaluru Cantonment declare its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for "Sravanur, provision of new crossing station at Sravanur at Km 75/345 Mandarere & Holenarsipura stations on Mysore between Hassan line," in the district of Hassan In the state of Karnataka.

And where as the substance of the said notification has been published in "Vijayavani", "The New Indian Express" dated 10th July 2026; under Section 2, Clause 20A of Railway Act, 1989. And whereas the Competent Authority has received objections filed under section 2, clause 20D, considered and settled the same appropriately.

And whereas, in pursuance of Section 2, Clause 20E of Railway Act, 1989, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, Construction Organisation, Bengaluru Cantonment.

Now, therefore, up on receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 2, Clause 20E of Railway Act, 1989, the Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, Construction Organisation, Bengaluru Cantonment hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;

And further, in pursuance of Section 2, Clause 20E of Railway Act, 1989, the Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, Construction Organisation, Bengaluru Cantonment hereby declares that on publication of this

notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
