का.आ. 2903 (अ).– यत:, मै. इलेक्ट्रॉजनक्ट्स कॉपोरेिन ऑफ तजमलनाडु जलजमटेड, िो एक जनिी संगठन ह,ै
ने तजमलनाडु राज्य के जवश्वनाथपुरम गांव, होसुर तालकु , कृष्णाजगरी जिला में सूचना प्रौद्योजगकी एवं सूचना
प्रौद्योजगकी समर्थति सेवाओं के जलए एक क्षेत्र जवजिष्ट जविेष आर्थिक िोन की स्ट्थापना हते ु जविेष आर्थकि िोन
अजधजनयम, 2005 (2005 का 28), (जिस े एतद्पश्चात् उक्त अजधजनयम कहा गया ह)ै की धारा 3 के अंतगित
प्रस्ट्ताव दकया था;
और, यतः केन्द्र सरकार ने, जविेष आर्थिक िोन जनयमावली, 2006 के जनयम 8 के साथ पठठत उक्त
अजधजनयम की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, वाजणज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय
की अजधसूचना संख्या का.आ.1155(अ) दिनांक 4 मई, 2009 द्वारा उपयुिक्त जविेष आर्थिक िोन में 70.01
हक्ट्े टेयर के क्षेत्र को अजधसूजचत दकया था।;

और यतः, मै. इलेक्ट्रॉजनक्ट्स कॉपोरेिन ऑफ तजमलनाडु जलजमटेड ने अब उपरोक्त जविेष आर्थिक िोन म ें
से 18.9535 हक्ट्े टेयर के क्षेत्र को अनजधसूजचत करन े का प्रस्ट्ताव दकया है;
और, यतः, तजमलनाडु सरकार ने पत्र संख्या 5418/एमआईई-2/2022-2 दिनाकं 23 जसतम्बर,
2022 के तहत प्रस्ट्ताव को अपनी मंिूरी िे िी है;
और, यतः, जवकास आयुक्त, मरास जविेष आर्थिक िोन ने 18.9535 हक्ट्े टेयर के क्षत्रे को अनजधसजू चत
करने के प्रस्ट्ताव की जसफाठरि की हैI;
और, यतः, केंर सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट ह ै दक उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (8) और अन्द्य
संबंजधत आवश्यकताओं को परू ा कर जलया गया ह;ै
अतः अब, जविेष आर्थिक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) के िसू रे परन्द्तुक द्वारा
प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए और जविेष आर्थिक िोन अजधजनयम, 2006 के जनयम 8 के अनुसरण में केन्द्र
सरकार एतद्द्वारा 18.9535 हक्ट्े टेयर के क्षेत्र को उपरोक्त जविेष आर्थकि िोन स े अनजधसूजचत करती ह,ै जिसके
पठरमाणतः एसइिेड का कुल क्षेत्रफल 51.0565 हक्ट्े टेयर हो िाएगा। अनजधसूचना के जलए जनम्नजलजखत ताजलका
में उल्लेजखत सवे संख्यायें और क्षेत्र िाजमल है, अथाति ्:-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th July, 2024
S.O. 2903-(E). – Whereas, M/s. Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu (ELCOT) Ltd,
had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005),
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up an Information Technology and Information
Technology Enabled Services Special Economic Zone at Viswanathapuram Village, Hosur
Taluk, Krishnagiri District, in the State of Tamil Nadu;[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones
Rules 2006, had notified an area of 70.01 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide
Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 1155(E) dated 4th May, 2009;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu (ELCOT) Ltd has now
proposed for de-notification of 18.9535 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has given its approval to the
proposal vide letter No.5418/MIE-2/2022-2 dated 23rd September, 2022;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Madras SEZ has recommended
the proposal for de-notification of an area of 18.9535 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under
sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-
section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of
the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area
of 18.9535 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 51.0565 hectares. The Survey numbers
and the area for de-notification are given below in the table, namely: -
