Bengaluru, the 10th February, 2026
S.O. 692(E).— In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of Sec. 20E of the Railway Act, 1989
(24 of 1989), the Central Government (Ministry of Railways, South western Railway, Construction Organisation,
Bengaluru Cantonment) after being satisfied with the report of the Competent Authority & Dy. Collector of Mormugoa-
Vasco submitted vide his office communication No.16/2/LA-02/2025/SO-3963/DYC/142 dated 12/01/2026 hereby
declares that the lands described and shown in the following Schedule and notified under S.O. 3963(E) dated 29/08/2025
issued under sub-section (1) of Section 20A of Chapter IVA of the Act, should be acquired for executing the Special
Railway Project namely doubling of Vasco da Gama-Kulem section of Tinaighat-Vasco da Gama in the State of GOA.
