उक्त भूक्षम म ेंरुक्षच रखि ेवाला कोई भी व्यक्षक्त, आक्षिकाररक रािपत्र म ेंइस अक्षिसूचिा के प्रकाशि की क्षतक्षि स ेतीस
कदिों की अवक्षि के भीतर, उक्त अक्षिक्षियम की िारा 20 डी की उपिारा (1) के तहत उपयक्तुा प्रयोिि के क्षलए ऐसी भूक्षम के
अक्षिग्रहण और उपयोग पर आपक्षत्त उठा सकता ह।ै

आरओबी के क्षिमााण के संबंि म ें प्रत्येक ऐसी आपक्षत्त सिम प्राक्षिकारी, अिाात ् सहायक आयक्तु , तररकेरे और मध्यथि, अिाात ्
िेत्रीय आयुक्त, मैसरुू को क्षलक्षखत म ेंदी िाएगी और उसम ेंआपक्षत्त के कारण बताए िाएंगे। सिम प्राक्षिकारी आपक्षत्तकता ा को
थवय ं या ककसी कािूिी सलाहकार के माध्यम स े सुिवाई का अवसर प्रदाि करेगा और सभी आपक्षत्तयों की सुिवाई के बाद

NOTIFICATION
Bengaluru, the 30th March, 2026
S.O. 1644(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20 A of the Railway
Act 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government (Ministry of Railway,
South Western Railway, Construction Organisation, Bengaluru Cantonment) after being satisfied that for the
public purpose, the land, the brief description of which has been given in the schedule annexed hereto, is
required for the execution of the Special Railway Project, viz., “Construction of ROB in lieu of LC No. 123
at Km 205/200-300 between Kadur Jn,and Birur Jn. (Kadur Town, Kadur Taluk, Chikamagalur),” in the state
of KARNATAKA, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land:
Any person interested in the said land may, within a period Thirty days from the date of publication
of this notification in the official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the
aforesaid purpose under sub-section (1) of Section 20D of the said Act:
Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority viz., Assistant Commissioner,
Tariekere and ‘Arbitrator’ viz., ‘Regional Commissioner, Mysuru” for Construction of ROB in lieu of LC
No. 123 at at Km 205/200-300 between Kadur Jn,and Birur Jn. (Kadur Town, Kadur Taluk, Chikamagalur
district) in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the competent authority shall give the objector
an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such
objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by
order, either allow or disallow the objections:
Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of Section 20 D of the said Act

The land plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be
inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid Office of the Competent Authority viz., Assistant
