अतः, सिम प्राजधकारी की उक्त ररपोटा प्राप्त होिे पर और रेल अजधजियम, 1989 की धारा 2, खंड 20ई द्वारा प्रदि
िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, रेल मंत्रालय, दजिण पजिम रेलवे, जिमााण संगठि, बगें लरुु छाविी एतद्द्वारा घोजित करता ह ै

NOTIFICATION
Bengaluru, the 8th July, 2026
S.O. 3720(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Central Government (Ministry of Railway, South Western
Railway, Construction Organisation, Bengaluru Cantonment) S.O.5706, dated 05/12/2025 published in the Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under Section 2, Clause 20A of Railway Act, 1989 (24
of 1989) (herein referred to as the said act) the Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, Construction
Organisation, Bengaluru Cantonment declare its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the
said notification for "Construction of New ROB in lieu of LC-97 between Srirangapatna-Pandavapura Railway
Stations at Km: 121/600-700" in the district of Mandya in the state of Karnataka.4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in "Prajavani and Vijayakarnataka
dated: 23/12/2026; under Section 2, Clause 20A of Railway Act, 1989. And whereas the Competent Authority has
received objections filed under section 2, clause 20D, considered and settled the same appropriately.
And whereas, in pursuance of Section 2, Clause 20E of Railway Act, 1989, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway, Construction Organisation, Bengaluru
Cantonment.
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by the Section 2, Clause 20E of Railway Act, 1989, the Ministry of Railway, South Western Railway,
Construction Organisation, Bengaluru Cantonment hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should
be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of Section 2, Clause 20E of Railway Act, 1989, the Ministry of Railway, South
Western Railway, Construction Organisation, Bengaluru Cantonment hereby declares that on publication of this
notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central
Government, free from all encumbrances.
