NOTIFICATION
Bengaluru, the 30th September 2021
S.O. 4043(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-Section (1) of Section 20E of the Railway Act,
1989 (24 of 1989) the Central Government after being satisfied with the report of the Competent Authority and Dy.
Collector & SDO-1 Salcete, Margao-Goa, submitted vide his office communicated No. SDO/LA-19/2020-21/9438/I
dt. 04.08.2021, here by declares that the lands described and shown in the following schedule and notified under S.O
1844 (E) dt. 09.06.2020 under sub section (1) of Section 20A of the Act, shall be acquired for executing the Special
Railway Project namely Construction of ROB in lieu of LC 19 at KM 80/500-600 between Chandargao and Madgao
station.
Any person interested in the said land may, within thirty days from the date of publication of this notification
in the official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-
section (1) of Section 20D of the said Act;
Every such objection shall be made to the competent authority, namely, Incharge Land Acquisition Officer,
Deputy Collector and Sub-Divisional Officer, Salcete for Londa Vasco Road over Bridge in lieu of level crossing
No.19 in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the competent authority shall give the objector an
opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and
after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or
disallow the objections;
Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of Section 20D of the said Act shall be
final;
The land plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected
by the interested person at the aforesaid Office of the competent authority.
