NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd September, 2021
S.O. 4362(E).—Whereas, it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary in the public interest that,
for the transportation of Natural Gas in the State of Tamil Nadu, “Ennore- Thiruvallur -Bengaluru -Puducherry -
Nagapattinam –Madurai- Tuticorin pipeline” should be laid by Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
And whereas, it appears to the Central Government that for the purpose of laying such pipeline, it is
necessary to acquire the right of user in land under which the said pipeline is proposed to be laid and which is
described in the Schedule annexed hereto;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Petroleum and
Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), the Central Government hereby

Any person interested in the land described in the said schedule may, within twenty one days from the date
on which copies of the Gazette of India containing this notification are made available to the general public, object in
writing to the acquisition of the right of user therein for laying of the pipeline under the land to Shri K.S.A.Mohamed
Jaghir Hussain, Competent Authority, Land Acquisition Officer Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Pipeline Projects,
Plot No.14, Jayaprakash Street, V.G.P. Nagar, Rajajipuram, Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu – 602 001.
