NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th September, 2022
S.O. 4726(E).—Whereas by notification of Government of India in the Ministry of
Petroleum and Natural Gas, number S.O. 3150(E) dated 06-07-2022, issued under sub-section (1)
of Section 3 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act,
1962 (50 of 1962) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Government of India had declared
its intention to acquire the Right of User in land, specified in the Schedule appended to that
notification for transportation of natural gas through M/s Pipeline Infrastructure Limited’s (PIL)
Silvassa Spur Pipeline from Tap off point in Vill: Zaroli, Taluka: Umargam, Dist: Valsad, Gujarat
to M/s Reliance Industries Limited’s (RIL) Silvassa Manufacturing Division in Vill: Kharadpada,
Silvassa, U.T. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli;
And whereas, the copies of the said Gazette notification were made available to the public
by dt.11-07-2022 to 26-07-2022;
And whereas, no objection received from the public to the laying of the said pipeline;
And whereas, the Competent Authority has under sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the said
Act, submitted report to the Government of India;
And whereas, the Government of India, after considering the said report and on being
satisfied that the said land is required for laying the said pipeline, has decided to acquire the

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the
said Act, the Government of India hereby declares that the Right of User in the land, specified in
the Schedule, appended to this notification, is hereby acquired for laying the said pipeline;
And further, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 6 of the said
Act, the Government of India hereby directs that the Right of User in the said land for laying the
pipeline shall, instead of vesting in the Government of India, vest on the date of publication of
the declaration, in M/s. Pipeline Infrastructure Ltd, free from all encumbrances.
