NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th February, 2022
S.O. 668 (E).—Whereas, it appears to the Central Government of Petroleum Products, that it is
necessary in the public interest that for the transportation of Petroleum and Petroleum Products, Pipeline
Origin long from “Krishnapatnam, A.P to Madharam near Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh State. Should be
laid in the state of Andhra Pradesh by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited.
And, whereas, it appears to the Central Government that for the purpose of laying the said pipeline,
it is necessary to acquire the right of user in the land under which the said pipeline is proposed to be laid,
and which is described in the Schedule annexed to this notification;4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Petroleum and
Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), the Central Government
hereby declares its intention to acquire the right of user therein;
Any person who is interested in the land described in the said Schedule may within twenty one
days from the date on which the copies of this notification issued under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the
said Act, as published in the Gazette of India, are made available to the general public, object to the
acquisition of the right of the users therein for earthening the pipeline under the Land by BPCL., in writing
to the Competent Authority & Special Deputy Collector on Deputation from the State of Andhra Pradesh,
for Krishnapatnam - Hyderabad Pipeline project., Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, D. No. 35-3-
69/370-510, Housing Board Colony, MIG-123, Ongole District, Andhra Pradesh State.
