और केन्द्रीय सरकार उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 6 की उपधारा (4) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, यह

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th July, 2022
S.O. 3233(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of india in the Ministry of Petroleum and
Natural Gas S.O. No. 3666(E) dated the 31st August, 2021, issued under sub-section (1) of section 3of the petroleum
and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter referred to as the
said Act), published in the Gazette of india dated the 10th September, 2021 the Central Government declared its
intention to acquire the right of user in the land specified in the Schedule appended to that notification for the purpose
of laying Augmentation of“Muzaffarpur-Motihari Pipeline Project” for the transportation of LPG Products in
Block-Turkauliya, District- East Champaran in the state of Bihar by Indian Oil Corporation Limited ;
And whereas copies of the said Gazette notification were made available to the concerned land owner by
3 October, 2021.
And whereas Shri Arun Kumar Jha, Competent Authority Patna (Bihar) has under sub-section (1) of section
6 of the said Act submitted report to the Central Government ;
And whereas the Central Government, after considering the said report and on being satisfied that the said
land is required for laying the pipeline, has decided to acquire right of user therein ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the said Act, the
Central Government hereby declares that the right of user in the land specified in the Schedule appended to this

And further, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 6 of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby directs that the right of user in the said land for laying the pipeline shall, instead of vesting in the
Central Government, vest on the date of publication of the declaration, in Indian Oil Corporation Limeted, free from
all encumbrances.
