अतः अब, केंद्रीय सरकार उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 6 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए
यह घोषणा करती ह ै की इस अजधसूचना स े सलं ग्न अनुसूची म ें जवजनर्िष्टज भूजम म ें पाइपलाइन जबछान े के जलए उपयोग के
अजधकार का अिजन दकया िाए;
और केंद्रीय सरकार उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 6 की उपधारा (4) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, यह

पेरोजलयम और खजनि पाइपलाइन अजधजनयम, 1962 की धारा 10 के अधीन दकसी भी क्षजतपूर्तज के जलए इंजडयन

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th July, 2022
S.O. 3215.(E)—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Petroleum and
Natural Gas 1262 dated 15th March 2019,1269 dated 28th May 2019,3850 (E) dated 26th October 2020 and 4062 (E)
dated 7th October 2020, issued under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition
of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), published in the Gazette no.
29 on 14th to 20th July, 2019 and Gazette no. 3400 on 28th October 2020 and Gazette no. 3570 on 11th November
2020 Part- II, Section 3, Sub Section (ii), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the right of user in
the land specified in the Schedule appended to that notification for the purpose of laying “Paradip – Somnathpur -
Haldia Product Pipeline”, for the transportation of Petroleum Products in Kujang Tahasil of Jagatsinghpur District in
the state of Odisha by Indian Oil Corporation Limited;
And whereas copies of the said Gazette notification were made available to the public up to 22.11.2020;
And whereas the competent authority has under sub-section (1) of section 6 of the said Act submitted report to
the Central Government:
And whereas the Central Government, after considering the said report and on being satisfied that the said
land is required for laying the pipeline, has decided to acquire right of user therein;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby declares that the right of user in the land specified in the Schedule appended to this notification is

And further, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 6 of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby directs that the right of user in the said land for laying the pipeline shall, instead of vesting in the
Central Government, vest on the date of publication of the declaration, in Indian Oil Corporation Limited, free from
all encumbrances.
Indian Oil Corporation Limited shall be exclusively liable for any compensation in terms of Section 10 of the
P & MP Act, 1962 and no suit, claim or legal proceeding would lie against the Central Government on any matter
relating to the pipeline.
