The proposed ROU of Paradip Numaligarh Crude Oil Pipeline (PNCPL) traverses in the same route that of GAIL (India) Limited’s Barauni Guwahati Natural Gas Pipeline (BGPL) for 07.10 Km. in Uttar Dinajpur (West Bengal) District. Numaligarh Refinery Limited proposes to make use of about 07.10 Km. common ROU corridor of GAIL (India) Limited’s Barauni Guwahati Natural Gas Pipeline (BGPL), which was acquired initially by GAIL (India) Limited published in Central Gazette vide, S.O. 4419(E) Dated 27 November, 2020 published in the Central Gazette No. 3879 dated 07 December, 2020. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 6 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs that the right of user in the lands as specified in the schedule appended to this notification for laying the pipeline shall, Jointly vest on the date publication of the declaration, in the GAIL(India) Limited for laying the Barauni Guwahati Natural Gas Pipeline (BGPL) as well as for laying Paradip Numaligarh Crude Oil Pipeline (PNCPL) by Numaligarh Refinery Limited for 07.10 Km. in Uttar Dinajpur (West Bengal) District free from all encumbrances.
