NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd January, 2026
S.O. 351(E).— Whereas Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, is now proposed to lay Pipeline for
transportation of Petroleum Product from Visakha (Andhra Pradesh) to Raipur (Chhattisgarh). The Proposed ROU of
Visakha - Raipur pipeline traverses in the same route that of Visakhapatnam Vijayawada Petroleum Product Pipeline
for 7.175 Kms in Pendurti Mandal in Visakhapatnam District.
HPCL proposes to make use of about 7.175 km common ROU corridor of Visakhapatnam Vijayawada
Petroleum Product Pipeline as common ROU vide S.O. No. 2675 dated 11.09.1996 published in Central Gazette on
21.09.1996.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 6 of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby directs that the right of user in the lands as specified in the schedule appended to this notification
for laying the pipeline shall, Jointly vest on the date of publication of the declaration, in the Hindustan Petroleum
Corporation Visakhapatnam Vijayawada Petroleum Product Pipeline as well as in the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation
Limited for laying Product pipeline from Visakha (Andhra Pradesh) to Raipur (Chhattisgarh) for initial 7.175 Km in
Visakhapatnam District free from all encumbrances.
