S.O 1843(E) dated 15 April, 2025 published in Gazette of India, extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub section (ii), notification no. 1810 dated 24 April 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub-section (1) of clause 20A of section 2 of the Railways Act 1989 (24 of 1989) and Railways Amendment act 2008 (11of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the Land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution of special Railway Project namely, “Construction of 2 lane ROB in lieu of L-Xing No.88 at km. 1045/11-13 between Bhaupur-Maitha Railway station of Prayagraj Division”, District Kanpur Dehat in the state of Uttar Pradesh; And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily news paper namely, Dainik Jagran Kanpur and Times of India Kanpur Dated 02 May, 2025 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas 3 nos of objection was received and same has been considered by the Competent authority accordingly order has been passed; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the Land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
