dqekj iq=x.k egkohj fu- c'khjiqj] lat; iq= ujsUnz fu- xzke ;ksx 0.4437 [फा. स.ं 190-W/Land/Jaunpur] ';ke flag] eq[; iz'kklfud vf/kdkjh@fuekZ.k&II4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [Northern Railway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 24th December, 2025 S.O. 5978(E).— Whereas as by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways, Northern Railway (Construction Organization), number S.O. 4881(E), dated the 23 October, 2025 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 23 October, 2025 and issued under Sub- section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (herein after referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Railway Project, namely, doubling of Jaunpur Junction-Zafrabad Railway Station (6.28 Km.) Project in District-Jaunpur in the State of Uttar Pradesh. Whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in the daily local newspapers, namely, "Amar Ujala" (Hindi) and "Times of India" (English), dated the 29 October, 2025 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act, no objection have been received. Whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government. Now, therefore, upon receipt of the report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose. Further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
