NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th October, 2025
S.O. 4651(E).— In exercise of the power conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of the Railways (Amendment)
Act-2008, the Central Government hereby notifies the project of “Ambala Cantt. to Sahnewal 4th Line and Ludhiana
to Jalandhar Cantt. 3rd Line (138.138 Km.)” of Northern Railway as a "Special Railway Project" for acquisition
of 90.33 Hactare of land, in district Ambala of the state Haryana and districts Patiala, Fatehgarh Saheb, Ludhiana,
Kapurthala and Jalandhar of the state Punjab, for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from
the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette.
