S.O. 4854(E).— In exercise of the power conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of the Railways
(Amendment) Act-2008, the Central Government hereby notifies the project of “Rajpura-Mohali New Rail Line (18.11 Km.) of Northern Railway” as a "Special Railway Project” for acquisition of approximately
53.84 Hactare of land, in districts Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib and Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar of the state Punjab, for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette.
