NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th October, 2025
S.O. 4650(E).— In exercise of the power conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of the Railways (Amendment)
Act-2008, the Central Government hereby notifies the project of “Construction of 3rd & 4th Line between Delhi –
Panipat - Ambala (198 km) in Delhi Division of Northern Railway” as a "Special Railway Project" for acquisition
of land in Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Ambala Districts in the state of Haryana; Districts North Delhi,
North West Delhi and Central Delhi in the National Capital Region, New Delhi for providing national infrastructure for
a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette.
