New Delhi, the 4th January, 2024
S.O. 63(E).— In exercise of the power conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of the Railways
(Amendment) Act-2008, the Central Government hereby notifies the project of 'Major Upgradation of
Ayodhya Railway Station (Phase-II) in Lucknow Division of Northern Railways' as a “Special Railway
Project” for acquisition of land, in Ayodhya District in the State of Uttar Pradesh, for providing national
infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official
gazette.
