और केन्द्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो गया ह ै दक उक्त अजधसूचना स े संलग्न अनुसूची म ें जिजनर्िजष्ट उक्त भूजम के दकसी भाग म ें कोयला प्राप्त दकया िा सकता ह;ै अतः, अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 7 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, अनुसूची म ें िर्णजत 408.86 हक्े टेयर (लगभग) या 1010.29 एकड़ (लगभग) माप िाली भूजम म े या उस पर के सभी अजधकार एि ं 1348.78 हक्े टेयर (लगभग) या 3332.84 एकड़ (लगभग) माप िाली भूजम म े या उस पर के खनन अजधकार का अिजन करन े के अपन े आिय की सूचना िेती ह;ै 8023 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] टटप्पण 1: इस अजधसूचना के अधीन आन े िाल े क्षत्रे के रेखांकन संखया: सी-I(ई)/III/िेिेएनआर/0826/1040, तारीख 26 अगस्ट्त, 2026 का जनरीक्षण कलेक्टर, जिला यितमाल, महाराष्ट्र के कायाजलय म ें या कोयला जनयंत्रक, कोयला जनयंत्रक का संगठन, कोयला मत्रं ालय, स्ट्कोप मीनार, पांचिी मंजिल, कोर-2, लक्ष्मी नगर, नई दिल्ली 110092 के कायाजलय म ें या महाप्रबंधक, िेस्ट्टन ज कोलफील््स जलजमटेड (रािस्ट्ि जिभाग), कोल इस्ट्टेट, जसजिल लाईन्द्स, नागपुर (महाराष्ट्र) 440001 के कायाजलय म ेंदकया िा सकेगा। टटप्पण 2: उपरोक्त अजधजनयम की उपधारा 8 के उपबंधों की ओर ध्यान आकृष्ट दकया िाता ह,ै जिसम ें उपबंध इस प्रकार ह:ै- “8. अिजन की बाबत आपजत्तयां.- (1) कोई व्यजक्त िो दकसी भूजम म,ें जिसकी बाबत धारा 7 के अधीन अजधसूचना िारी की गई ह,ै जहतबद्ध ह,ै अजधसूचना के िारी दकए िाने स े तीस दिन के भीतर सम्पूणज भूजम या उसके दकसी भाग या ऐसी भूजम म ें या उस पर के दकन्द्हीं अजधकारों का अिजन दकए िान े के बारे म ेंआपजत्त कर सकेगा। स्ट्पष्टीकरण - इस धारा के अधीन यह आपजत्त नहीं मानी िाएगी, दक कोई व्यजक्त स्ट्ियं उस भूजम म े कोयला उत्पािन हते ु खनन संदियाएँ करना चाहता ह ै और ऐसी संदियाए ँ केन्द्रीय सरकार अथिा दकसी अन्द्य व्यजक्त को नहीं की िानी चाजहए।
(2) उपधारा (1) के अधीन प्रत्येक आपजत्त सक्षम अजधकारी को जलजखत रूप म ें की िाएगी और सक्षम अजधकारी, आपजत्तकता ज को स्ट्िय ं सुने िाने का या दकसी जिजध व्यिसायी द्वारा सुनिाई का अिसर िेगा और ऐसी सभी आपजत्तयों को सुनने के पश्चात ् और ऐसी अजतटरक्त िांच, यदि कोई हो, करन े के पश्चात ् िो िह आियक समझता ह,ै या तो धारा 7 की उपधारा (1) के अधीन अजधसूजचत भूजम के या ऐसी भूजम म ें या उस पर के अजधकारों के संबंध म ें एक टरपोटज या ऐसी भूजम के जिजभन्न टुकडों या ऐसी भूजम म ें या उस पर के अजधकारों के संबंध म ें आपजत्तयों पर अपनी जसफाटरिों सजहत और अपन े समक्ष हुई कायजिाही के अजभलखे सजहत केन्द्रीय सरकार को टरपोटज प्रस्ट्ततु करेगा।

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 19th October, 2026 S.O. 5702(E).— Whereas,by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal, number S. O.
2983(E), dated the 10th June, 2026, issued under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act,1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) ,published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 11th June, 2026, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to prospect for coal in 1823.01 hectares (approximately) or 4504.658 acres (approximately) of the land in the locality specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification ;
And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that coal is obtainable in a part of the said land prescribed in the Schedule appended to this notification;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 7 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to acquire all rights in or over the land measuring 408.86 hectares
(approximately) or 1010.29 acres (approximately); and 1348.78 hectares (approximately) or 3332.84 acres
(approximately) in mining rights described in the Schedule appended hereto;

Note 2: Attention is hereby invited to the provisions of section 8 of the Act, which provides as follows: “8.Objections to acquisition.-(1) Any person interested in any land in respect of which a notification under section 7 has been issued may, within thirty days of the issue of the notification, object to the acquisition of the whole or any part of the land or any rights in or over such land.
Explanation.- It shall not be an objection within the meaning of this section for any person to say that he himself desires to undertake mining operations in the land for the production of coal and that such operations should not be undertaken by the Central Government or by any other person.
(2) Every objection under sub-section (1) shall be made to the competent authority in writing, and the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard either in person or by a legal practitioner and shall, after hearing all such objections and after making such further inquiry, if any, as he thinks necessary, either makes a report in respect of the land which has been notified under sub-[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 13
section (1) of section 7 or of rights in or over such land, or makes different reports in respect of different parcels of such land or of rights in or over such land, to the Central Government, containing his recommendations on the objections, together with the record of proceedings held by him, for the decision of that Government.
