का.आ.2690(अ) दिनांक 18 नवम्बर, 2008 के तहत् उपरोक्त जविेष आर्थवक िोन में 1019.225 हेक्टेयर के क्षेत्र को
अजधसूजचत दकया था;
और यतः, मै. एएम्आरएल हाईटेक जसटी जलजमटेड (पूवव में मै. एएम्आरएल इंटरनेिनल टेक जसटी जलजमटेड) ने
अब उपरोक्त जविेष आर्थवक िोन से 215.2600 हेक्टेयर के क्षेत्र को अनजधसूजचत करने का प्रस्ट्ताव दकया है;
और यतः, तजमलनाडु सरकार ने उनके पत्र सं. 1254/एमआईई.2/2022-2 दिनांक 21 माचव, 2022 के तहत
प्रस्ट्ताव को सहमजत िे िी है;

और यतः, जवकास आयुक्त, मेप्ज़् जविेष आर्थवक िोन न े जविेष आर्थवक िोन के 215.2600 हक्े टेयर के क्षेत्र को
अनजधसूजचत करन े के प्रस्ट्ताव की संस्ट्तुजत की ह।ै इसके अलावा, अनजधसुजचत भूजम का उपयोग डीटीए के जलए औद्योजगक
पाकव के रूप में दकया िाएगा;
और यतः, केन्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतष्टु ह ैदक अजधजनयम की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (8) के अतं गवत अपक्षे ाओं तथा
अन्द्य संबंजधत अपक्षे ाओं को पूरा कर जलया गया है;
अतः अब, जविेष आर्थवक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) के िसू रे परन्द्तुक द्वारा प्रित्त
िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए और जविेष आर्थवक िोन अजधजनयम, 2006 के जनयम 8 के अनसु रण म ें केन्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा
215.2600 हक्े टेयर क्षेत्र को अनजधसूजचत करती है, जिसके पररमाणतः कुल क्षेत्रफल 803.9650 हक्े टेयर हो िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th September, 2022
S.O. 4577(E).— Whereas, M/s. AMRL Hitech City Limited (formerly M/s. AMRL International Tech City
Limited), had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to
as the said Act) to set up a Multi-Product Special Economic Zone at Therkku Nanguneri, Puliyurkurichi, Madam
Alankulam, Vepankulam and Rajakkalamangalam Villages, Nanuneri Taluk, Triunelveli District in the State of Tamil
Nadu;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section
4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, notified an area of 1019.225 hectares at
above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Gazette Notification Number S.O. 2690(E)
dated 18th November, 2008;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. AMRL Hitech City Limited (formerly M/s. AMRL International Tech City Limited)
has now proposed for de-notification of 215.2600 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has given its approval to the proposal vide letter
No. 1254/MIE.2/2022-2, dated 21st March, 2022;4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, MEPZ Special Economic Zone has recommended the
proposal for de-notification of an area of 215.2600 hectares of the Special Economic Zone. Further, after de-
notification, the land would be used as Industrial park for DTA;
NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of
section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4
of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the
Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 215.2600 hectares, thereby making resultant notified area as
803.9650 hectares. The Survey numbers and the areas for de-notification are given below in the table, namely: -
