उपेक्षाओं तथा अन्द्य संबंजधत उपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर जलया गया है और उनको उपयुसक्त जविेष आर्थसक िोन के जवकास,
प्रचालन एवं रखरखाव हते ु उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3 की उपधारा (10) के अंतगसत दिनांक 28 अप्रैल, 2022 को
अनुमोिन पत्र प्रिान कर दिया है;
अतः अब, जविेष आर्थसक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग
करते हुए और जविेष आर्थसक िोन अजधजनयम, 2006 के जनयम 8 के अनुसरण में केन्द्र सरकार, एतद्द्वारा उक्त स्ट्थान के
67.7499 हेक्टेयर के नीचे िी गई ताजलका में दिए गए एस.एफ. संख्याओं के क्षेत्रों को अजधसूजचत करती है, अथासत्-

जिस तारीख से उपयुसक्त जविेष आर्थसक िोन को सीमा-िुल्क अजधजनयम 1962 (1962 का 52) की धारा 7 के अंतगसत
अंतिेिीय कंटेनर जडपो माना िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th June, 2022
S.O. 3041(E).—Whereas, M/s. Cheyyar SEZ Developers Private Limited, has proposed under
section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to
set up a Multi-Sector Special Economic Zone at Pelakuppam Village, Villupuram District in the State of
Tamil Nadu;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of
section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval
under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the
above Special Economic Zone on 28th April, 2022;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special
Economic Zones Rules, 2006, hereby notifies the 67.7499 hectares area comprising the S.F. numbers and
the area given below in the table, namely: -

be called the Approval Committee for the above Special Economic Zone for the purposes of section 14 of
the said Act consisting of the following Chairperson and Members, namely: -
1. Development Commissioner of the Special Economic Zone Chairperson ex officio;
2. Director or Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Member ex officio;
Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce or his nominee not
below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India
3. Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade having territorial Member ex officio;
jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone
4. Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise having territorial jurisdiction Member ex officio;
over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of
Joint Commissioner
5. Commissioner of Income Tax having territorial jurisdiction over the Member ex officio;
Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint
Commissioner
