NOTIFICATION
Mumbai, the 23rd March, 2026
S.O. 1604(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (Railway
Board ) (Published in the Gazette of India, under notification No. 838 (E) of dated 12/11/2025 Extra Ordinary- part II-
Section-3 -Sub-section (i)) (here in after referred to as the said notification) under subsection(I) of section 20A of the
Railway Act 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) the Central Government declared its intention
to be acquired the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for execution, maintenance,
management and operation of the Special Railway Project namely, Miyagam Karjan-Lakodara flyover Connection
Line Project in District Vadodara in the State of Gujarat.
And, whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily local newspaper “Divya Bhaskar
”dated 19th November 2025 and “The Indian Express” dated 19th November 2025 under subsection (4) of section
20A of the said Act;
And, whereas, no objection has been received by the competent authority.
And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (I) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report of the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central government here by
declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto
