NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 11th September, 2026 S.O. 5054(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 the Central Government hereby notifies “Construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of LC No. 58 between Dahanu Road and Gholvad Stations at Km 126/14–16 on Virar–Surat Section”, as a “Special Railway Project” for acquisition of land in the State of Maharashtra for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
