Mumbai, the 4th December, 2023
S.O. 5161(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of Section 2 of the Railways
(Amendment) Act-2008, the Central Government hereby authorizes the officers nominated in column (2) of the Table
below as “Competent Authority” to perform the function as such authority under the said act with effect from the date
of publication of this notification in the official Gazette in respect of the Special Railway Project of “Extension of
Harbour line between Goregaon to Borivali (7.08 km.) and stabling lines (16 Nos.) under MUTP IIIA Project” in the
State of Maharashtra relating to Sub- Divisions mentioned in Column (3) District mentioned in Column (4) of the said
table for the public purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of such Special Railway Project.
