FAB City SPV (India) Private Limited, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Manufacturing and developing semiconductor facility along with a Free Trade and Warehousing Zone, at Raviryala Village, Maheswaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District in the State of Telangana; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified area of 120.06 hectares, 299.23 hectares and 15.57 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Numbers S.O. 41(E) dated 15th January, 2007, S.O. 2128(E) dated 13th December, 2007 and S.O.1702 (E) dated 10th July, 2009, respectively; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. FAB City SPV (India) Private Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 368.80 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Telangana has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No.5502/PM(IPU)/TSIIC/2007/1 dated 08th February, 2022. After de-notification, the de-notified parcels of land would be utilised for industrial purpose and creation of infrastructure which would sub-serve the objective of the SEZ as originally envisaged. Such land parcel after de-notification will confirm to land use guidelines/ master plans of the respective State Government; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 368.80 hectares of the Special Economic Zone. NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 368.80 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 66.06 hectares, comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:- TABLE FOR DE-NOTIFICATION AREA S.
