और, यतः केन्द्र सरकार ने, जविषे आर्थाक िोन जनयमावली, 2006 के जनयम 8 के साथ पठित उक्त अजधजनयम क़ी
धारा 4 क़ी उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, वाजणज्य एवं उद्योग मत्रं ालय क़ी अजधसूचना संख्या
का.आ. 1151(अ), 1152(अ) और 1153(अ) दिनांक 4 मई, 2009 द्वारा उपयक्तुा जविषे आर्थाक िोन में 14.2903
हक्े टेयर के क्षेत्र को अजधसूजचत दकया था;
और यतः, म.ै गोपालन इंटरप्राइिेि (इंजडया) प्राइवेट जलजमटेड ने अब उक्त जविेष आर्थाक िोन के 14.2903
हक्े टेयर के सम्पणू ा क्षेत्र को अनजधसूजचत करन े का प्रस्ट्ताव दकया है;

और यतः, कनााटक सरकार न े उनके पत्र संख्या सीआई 218 एसपीआई 2023 दिनांक 5 िलु ाई, 2025 के तहत
प्रस्ट्ताव को अनापजत्त प्रमाण पत्र ि े दिया ह।ै अनजधसूचना के बाि, ऐसा जवमुक्त क्षेत्र राज्य सरकार के भूजम उपयोग दििा-
जनिेिों/मास्ट्टर स्ट्थानों के अनरूु प होगा;
और यतः, जवकास आयुक्त, कोचीन जविेष आर्थाक िोन ने उक्त जविेष आर्थाक िोन के 14.2903 हक्े टेयर के
सम्पूणा क्षेत्र को अनजधसूजचत करने के प्रस्ट्ताव क़ी संस्ट्तुजत क़ी ह;ै
अतः अब केंि सरकार, जविेष आर्थाक िोन जनयमावली, 2006 के जनयम 8 के प्रथम परंतुक द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों
का प्रयोग करत े हुए एतद्द्वारा उक्त अजधसूचना को इस उत्सािन स े पूव ा दकए गए कायों या दकए िान े के जलए लोजपत को
छोड़कर, रद्द करती ह।ै

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th September, 2025
S.O. 4234(E).—Whereas, M/s Gopalan Enterprises (India) Private Limited, had proposed under section 3 of
the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a Special
Economic Zone for Information Technology/Information Technology Enabled Services at villages Mahadevapura &
Kaggadasapura, K R Puram, Whitefield, Bangalore, Karnataka;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section
4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified an area of 14.2903 hectares
at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 1151(E),
S.O. 1152(E) and S.O. 1153(E) dated 4th May, 2009;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s Gopalan Enterprises (India) Private Limited, has now proposed to de-notify the
entire area of 14.2903 hectares of the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Karnataka has given No Objection Certificate to the proposal
vide letter No. CI 218 SPI 2023 dated 5th July, 2025. Further, after de-notification, such de-notified area will conform
to land use guidelines/master places of the State Government;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Cochin Special Economic Zone has recommended the
proposal for de-notification of the entire area of 14.2903 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
NOW, THEREFORE, in the exercise of the powers conferred by the first proviso to rule 8 of the Special
Economic Zones Rules 2006, the Central Government hereby rescinds the above notification except for things done or
omitted to be done before such rescission.
