का.आ. 3639(अ).—यतः, मै॰ गुिरात औद्योजगक जवकास जनगम, िो गुिरात राज्य में औद्योजगक
प्रोत्सोहन हते ु एक राज्य सगं ठन है, न े गुिरात राज्य में अहमिाबाि में पररधान क्षत्रे के जलए एक क्षेत्र जवजिष्ट
जविेष आर्थिक िोन की स्ट्थापना हते ु जविेष आर्थिक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005 (2005 का 28), (जिसे एतद्द्वारा
उक्त अजधजनयम कहा गया ह)ै की धारा 3 के अंतगति प्रस्ट्ताव दकया था;
और यतः, केन्द्र सरकार न े जविेष आर्थिक िोन जनयमावली 2006 के जनयम 8 के साथ परठत अजधजनयम
की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, वाजणज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय की
अजधसूचना संख्या का.आ. 543(अ) दिनांक 10 अप्रैल, 2007 द्वारा उपयुक्त जविेष आर्थिक िोन के 38.04
हक्े टेयर क्षेत्र को अजधसूजचत कर दिया था;

और यतः, मै. मै॰ गुिरात औद्योजगक जवकास जनगम न े अब उपरोक्त जविेष आर्थिक क्षेत्र से 17.62
हक्े टेयर के क्षेत्र को अनजधसूजचत करने का प्रस्ट्ताव दकया है;
और, यतः गुिरात राज्य सरकार न े उनके पत्र नंबर आईसी/इन्द्रा/एनओसी/1697670 दिनाकं 04
फरवरी, 2021 के प्रत्र के अनुसार प्रस्ट्ताव को मंिूरी िे िी ह।ै अनजधसूचना के बाि, ऐसे भूजम पासिल का उपयोग
बुजनयािी ढांचे के जनमािण के जलए दकया िाएगा, िो मूल रूप से पररकजल्पत एसईिेड के उद्देश्य को पूरा करेगा;
और यतः जवकास आयुक्त, कांडला जविेष आर्थिक िोन न े जविेष आर्थिक िोन के 17.6264 हक्े टेयर के
क्षेत्र को अनजधसूजचत करन े के प्रस्ट्ताव की संस्ट्तुजत की है;
और यतः, केन्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट ह ै दक अजधजनयम की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (8) के अंतगति
अपेक्षाओं तथा अन्द्य सम्बंजधत अपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर जलया गया है;
अतः अब, जविेष आर्थिक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) के प्रथम परन्द्तुक द्वारा
प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए और जविेष आर्थिक िोन अजधजनयम, 2006 के जनयम 8 के अनुसरण में केन्द्र
सरकार एतद्द्वारा 17.6264 हक्े टेयर के क्षेत्र को उक्त जविेष आर्थिक िोन के भाग से अनजधसूजचत करती है,
जिसके पररमाणतः कुल क्षेत्रफल 20.4149 हक्े टेयर हो िाएगा। अनजधसूचना के जलए टीपी संख्या और क्षेत्रफल
नीचे ताजलका में दिए गए ह:ैं -

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th August, 2024
S.O. 3639(E).—WHEREAS, M/s. Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation, a state industrial
promotion organization in the State of Gujarat had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005
(28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector-specific Special Economic Zone for Apparel
Sector at Ahmedabad in the State of Gujarat;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in the exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, notified an area of 38.0413
hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Numbers S.O.
543(E) dated 10th April, 2007 respectively;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation has now proposed for de-notification
of 17.6264 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Gujarat has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No.
IC/INFRA/NOC/1697670 dated 04.02.2021. Further, after de-notification, the land parcels would be utilized towards
the creation of infrastructure which would sub-serve the objective of the SEZ as originally envisaged;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Kandla Special Economic Zone has recommended the
proposal for de-notification of an area of 17.6264 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of
section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in the exercise of the powers conferred by the first proviso to sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules,
2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 17.6264 hectares, thereby making the resultant area as
20.4149 hectares. The T.P. numbers and the area for de-notification are given below in the table, namely:-
