और यतः, केन्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट ह ैदक उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3 की उप.धारा (8) के अतंगात अपेक्षाओं
तथा अन्द्य सबंजधत अपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर जलया गया है और उनको उपयुाक्त जविेष आर्थाक िोन के जवकास, प्रचालन एव ं
रखरखाव हेतू उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3 की उपधारा (10) के अतंगात दिनांक 16 िून, 2025 को अनुमोिन पत्र प्रिान
कर दिया ह;ै
अतः अब, जविेष आर्थाक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग
करते हुए और जविेष आर्थाक िोन अजधजनयम, 2006 के जनयम 8 अनुसरण में केन्द्र सरकार, एतद्द्वारा उक्त स्ट्थान के 11.549
हेक्टेयर के नीचे िी गई ताजलका में दिए गए सवेक्षण संख्याओं के क्षेत्रों को अजधसूजचत करती है, अथाात्ः-

िोन के जलए एक सजमजत, जिसे अनुमोिन सजमजत कहा िाएगा, गटित करती ह,ै जिसके अध्यक्ष और सिस्ट्य जनम्नानुसार है,
अथाात्-
1. जविेष आर्थाक िोन का जवकास आयक्तु अध्यक्ष,पिेन
2. जनिेिक अथवा उप-सजचव,भारत सरकार,वाजणज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय, वाजणज्य जवभाग या सिस्ट्य,पिेन
उसका नाजमती जिसका स्ट्तर अवर सजचव,भारत सरकार से कम नहीं होगा
3. जविेष आर्थाक िोन पर भू-भागीय क्षेत्राजधकार रखने वाले क्षेत्रीय संयुक्त जविेि व्यापार सिस्ट्य,पिेन

िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा दिनांक 23 िून, 2025 को उस तारीख के रूप में जनधााटरत करती है
जिस तारीख से उपयुाक्त जविेष आर्थाक िोन को सीमा-िुल्क अजधजनयम 1962 (1962 का 52) की धारा 7 के अंतगात
अंतिेिीय कंटेनर जडपो माना िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd June, 2025
S.O. 2790(E).— Whereas, M/s. Hubballi Durable Goods Cluster Private Limited, has proposed
under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said
Act) to set up special economic zone exclusively for manufacturing of electronic components at Itigatti
Village, Dharwad district, in the State of Karnataka;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of
section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval
under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the above
Special Economic Zone on 16th June, 2025;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)
of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic
Zones Rules, 2006, hereby notifies the 11.549 hectares area comprising the Survey numbers and the area
given below in the table, namely: -

(1) of section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby constitutes a Committee to
be called the Approval Committee for the above Special Economic Zone for the purposes of section 14 of

1. Development Commissioner of the Special Economic Zone Chairperson ex officio;
2. Director or Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry Member ex officio;

nominee not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government
of India
3. Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade having territorial Member ex officio;
jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone
4. Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise having territorial Member ex officio;
jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not
below the rank of Joint Commissioner
5. Commissioner of Income Tax having territorial jurisdiction over the Member ex officio;
Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint

AND, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(2) of section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby appoints the 23rd June, 2025
as the date from which the above Special Economic Zone shall be deemed to be Inland Container Depot
under section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962).
