Laxmi Infobahn One Private Limited (formally M/s. GAR Corporation Pvt. Ltd), had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Kokapet Village, Gandipet Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, in the State of Telangana; And, whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified/additional area the following areas at above Special Economic Zone as details given below in the table: - Sl. Laxmi Infobahn One Private Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 1.3510 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Telangana has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No.1229/ITE&C/Prom/2016 dated 2nd April, 2025. Further, after de-notification, the de-notified land parcel would be utilized towards creation of infrastructure which would sub-serve the objective of the SEZ as originally envisaged. Post de-notification, use of such land parcels will conform to land use guidelines/master plans of the Government of Telangana; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 1.3510 hectares of the Special Economic Zone. NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 1.3510 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 1.0780 hectares.
